Gary and the Fairy - A Student/Mentor Original Story

Gary and the Fairy is a short story about compassion, helping the people around you and being kind to one another. Written by 3rd grade student Yazline and her mentor Taylor, it has a touching message of how the world can be when we are kind. Taylor and Yazline have been working together for the past 6 months, meeting twice a week in our virtual sessions. They wrote this story together and drew the pictures to accompany it. I’m proud of our young learners for having so much empathy in their hearts. I think the message of this story by Yazline and Taylor is so important and I love that it was written in one of our sessions at Center for Success.
