Mentor Spotlight: Mike Lamping

Mentors are the heart and soul of our organization. This month we’re highlighting a Detroit mentor, Mike Lamping.

Anna, our Detroit Director, had this to say about Mike:

“He mentors four days a week and has done such a great job with our students! Each week, he and his students have meaningful conversations about what they have read and the new vocabulary that they have learned. I really appreciate his commitment to our families and our program. He has met with a parent, student, and I to discuss how we could work together to best support the student. He goes above and beyond!”

Mike is a perfect example of the incredible mentors we have at CFSN, and why our program is as successful as it is. Sending a huge thank you to Mike and all of the mentors at CFSN! You are changing lives in every session!
